Brand History

A Well-Known Brand in the Chinese Community: Chun Xiu Wen

Li's International, better known in the Chinese community as Chun Xiu Wen, has built considerable recognition over the years. Mr.LI, director of Li's International, has been active in the Asian food industry for over 40 years and was the first to introduce frozen dim sum in Europe. He has also contributed to the knowledge of many top chefs both locally and internationally.

1975

Four Decades of Culinary Mastery, Pioneer of Dim Sum in Europe

Mr. Li specialized in making British bread rolls, cakes, various pastries, and Asian specialties. He worked mainly in the Chinatowns of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague.

1979

From North Holland Towns to Large-Scale Production

Mr. Li started small-scale dim sum production in Egmond and Alkmaar. Later also in Wijk bij Duurstede and Beverwijk.

1984

Teaching to Fish: Cultivating a New Generation of Food Entrepreneurs.

Mr. Li was even invited to open training courses in Utrecht and Rotterdam. Many of these students are now successful entrepreneurs.

2009

Transnational Culinary Consultant, Continuing to Share His Passion for Asian Flavors

Family-owned Li's International has mass-produced frozen dim sum for over 30 years. It was the first dim sum producer recognized by the European Commission for its hygienic production conditions. The Li's International restaurant was converted into a B.V. Mr. Li remains active as a culinary consultant for renowned hotels and restaurants in China and Hong Kong, channeling his passion for Asian cuisine.
